Vertex Chambers was founded in 1996 by four barristers who had spent a decade watching sound cases lost on procedure. We built the practice around preparation: every file is worked as though it is going to trial, every witness is proofed twice, and every client knows what the other side will argue before they do.
Thirty years on we take fewer instructions than firms our size and settle more of them before a hearing. Four partners, eleven junior counsel, and the same building on Chancery Lane we started in.
